At our school, learning goes beyond the classroom. We offer a wide range of enrichment experiences designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and a love of learning in every child. Forest Schools
Our Forest Schools program gives children the chance to explore and learn in a natural outdoor environment. Through hands-on activities such as building shelters, observing wildlife and working collaboratively, pupils develop practical skills, resilience and a respect for nature. These sessions encourage Enjoyment of learning and Community spirit as children work together safely and responsibly in the great outdoors.
Lunchtime and After-School Clubs
We offer a variety of lunchtime and after-school clubs catering to a wide range of interests, from sports and games to science and technology. These clubs give children the opportunity to pursue their passions, try new activities and make new friends. By participating, pupils demonstrate Success through skill development, Enjoyment in social and creative activities and Community by supporting and collaborating with peers.
Music Room and Sing Education Provision
Our dedicated music room, along with specialist input from Sing Education, provides children with opportunities to explore music through singing, instrument playing and performance. Music enriches our school community by fostering creativity, confidence, and teamwork. Children learn to express themselves while developing Enjoyment and Success in their musical abilities and they contribute to a vibrant, inclusive Community.
Art Room and Art Club
In our art room and art club, pupils are encouraged to express their creativity through a variety of mediums, from painting and drawing to sculpture and mixed media. Art helps children develop focus, patience, and imaginative thinking, while celebrating individual achievements. Through collaborative projects and exhibitions, they learn the importance of Community and pride in their work, all while enjoying the creative process and striving for Success.
Cooking Curriculum and Cooking Club
Our cooking curriculum and cooking club allow children to develop practical life skills while exploring healthy eating and nutrition. From following recipes to working safely in the kitchen, pupils build confidence, independence and teamwork. These experiences connect directly to our school values: Safety in the kitchen, Success in mastering new skills, Enjoyment in trying and tasting new foods and Community as they share their creations with others.
